Accessibility Statement
If something on SurfLocal.us is difficult to use, we want to know what is getting in your way.
1. Our approach
Surflocal Media LLC aims to make SurfLocal.us understandable and usable for people with a range of abilities, devices, and ways of navigating. Accessibility considerations include clear structure, readable text, keyboard access, visible focus, descriptive controls, and reduced-motion preferences.
2. Current status
This statement is not a claim of complete accessibility or certified conformance. SurfLocal.us includes public pages, authenticated tools, generated business websites, and connected services that may differ in accessibility. A complete independent accessibility evaluation has not been represented as completed.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, including WCAG 2.2 Level AA, provide a reference for reviewing and improving accessibility. Referencing them is not a guarantee that every feature meets every criterion.
3. Ask for help or report a barrier
Email contact@surflocal.us with the subject "Accessibility assistance." Include the page address or feature, what you were trying to do, and what prevented you from doing it. If useful, describe your browser, device, or assistive technology and your preferred way to receive a response.
You do not need to disclose a diagnosis. Do not include passwords or confidential customer records. You may ask for assistance or an alternative way to obtain information or complete an interaction. Available options will depend on the request and the feature involved.
4. Business content and connected services
Businesses supplying content should use meaningful headings, useful image descriptions, readable contrast, descriptive links, and captions or transcripts where appropriate. Third-party services and customer-created material may present barriers that require coordination with their owners. Please report those barriers so the responsible party can be identified.
5. Continuing review
Feedback helps prioritize improvements. This statement does not replace technical testing or remediation, and it does not limit any accessibility rights or responsibilities under applicable law.
